About Blue House Books

Blue House Books was founded from lived experience and a deep belief that every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Our work is shaped by our journey raising children and advocating for them within the public school system to ensure they have the resources needed to learn, grow, and succeed alongside their peers. Through them, we have learned that emotional growth takes time, that communication is far bigger than spoken words, and that children thrive when they are understood, included, and supported with consistency and care.

These experiences guide our publishing philosophy. We create children’s books that honor diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and communicating, with a strong focus on neurodivergent children, including those with Autism and ADHD. Our stories are written to resonate with children while also supporting the adults who teach, care for, and champion them.
